THE POOR READER:
this categior has had no exposure to reading engligh. If you think you belong to this category, your initial reading should start off with editorials of good quality national level news paper you can also graduate to books written in simple english..........i am also belong to this category..........

  2. Editorials are good to start with..., but I would say magazine like India Today or Reader's Digest would be betr to go for as they discuss the issues to the deep and hence keep intrest intact :)

    I completely agree with the above statement given by Abhilasha Bhatia (Anisha)... Reader's Digest is really a Good source !!!

    Also :-

    Newspaper Editorials are Expert views and daily reading of the Editorials especially from Newspapers like "THE HINDU" and "THE INDIAN EXPRESS" have no Parallel. In Magazines "The Frontline" is the Best One to cover on.

    But, since you have just Started, you can cover any Newspaper/Magazine and present your views on the Topics...

    A Nice one to Start with could be the Hot and Favourite One these days : "The slippery slope of corruption"
